This is an important message for Greenwood parents and students. This afternoon, a student was approached by a stranger while walking home from school near the Kow Kickin’ Café. Thankfully the student was not injured. The student was chased by a stranger and when the student ran up the street toward the houses, the man stopped chasing and returned to his vehicle. The man was described as white and bald, and the vehicle was described as a red or maroon SUV or minivan.
Greenwood Police are investigating this incident. Please know we take these situations very seriously, as the safety of our students is always our absolute top priority.
